In 2010, I earned a double major in elementary and special education. I went back to school in 2017 I went back to school and got my license to become a gifted and talented teacher and coordinator. While earning my gifted and talented license, I began to develop the gifted and talented program within my school system. I have now been running and teaching the program since August 2018. I absolutely love making a difference in my students’ lives and making learning fun and meaningful for every one of them.

In my free time, I love to read for both pleasure and education. I enjoy watching TV and movies, as well as spending time with my friends and family. I really love going on trips around the world, and then bringing back my knowledge from those trips to my students to help them learn more about the world around them. Some of my favorite places I have traveled to so far include Costa Rica, Paris, and London.

I will post ideas, lessons, reflections, and products that not only help gifted and talented teachers/students, but also general education teachers/students. My main focus will be on elementary and middle school students.
